Kashmir 6th HUM Awards presenting Pakistan internationally
HUM TV is Pakistan’s leading entertainment channel. It has been serving audience with quality entertainment for decades. Consistently, HUM TV celebrates excellence in fields of entertainment, fashion and glamour and has set new trends for other awards show in Pakistan.
The 6th Hum Awards took place in Toronto, Canada on July 28, 2018, broadcast in Pakistan by Hum TV, while their fans criticized them for not performing their civic duty, the celebs and the Hum Awards team stood justified. Amid the function, Hum Network Limited exhibited Hum Awards in 25 categories.
The most foreseen awards of the year, 6th Hum Awards genuinely ended up being one of the greatest International Pakistani Awards. Among the participants were superstars such as as Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Mawra Hocane, Shahid Afridi, Reema, Atif Aslam, Hareem Farooq and the cast of Parwaaz Hai Junoon who set the stage on fire.
Hum Awards celebrated an exciting drama season in 2017-2018 and separated Jury’s Choice and a Viewers’ Choice categories that allowed viewers to cast their votes and help their favourite stars win in their respective categories.
The show included the duo Bushra Ansari and Ahmed Ali Butt engaging the audience with a comedy act, the Best New Sensation Television Female and Male award, which went to Hania Aamir and Ahad Raza Mir respectively, and of course, the megastar of Pakistani music Atif Aslam coming on stage and stealing the show with his absolutely outstanding musical performance on his popular number Dil Diyan Gallan, Thaam lo, Woh Lamhe, Hoor, Pehli Dafa and etc.
As the evening set towards its final run,it featured a performance by Mikaal Zulfiqar and Hareem Farooq. It also marked some important awards being distributed, with the
Best On-Screen Couple presented by Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi -Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly for Yaqeen Ka Safar.
Best Drama Serial – Momina Duraid for Yaqeen Ka Safar
Best Actor Female – Sajal Aly for Yaqeen Ka Safar
Best Actor Male – Ahad for Yaqeen Ka Safar.
To the delight of the audience, the megastars of Pakistani media industry Humayun Saeed and Kubra Khan then set the stage on fire with a bright troupe in participation. Their electrifying performance brought the house down before the final awards were announced.
Lastly, Ali Rehman and Hareem Farooq hosted the last set of the awards show, while the jury award for:

Best Actor Male – Ahad for Yaqeen Ka Safar
Best On-Screen Couple – Sajal Ali and Bilal Abbas for O Rangreza
Best Actor Female and Male – Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui
Even Recognition Award Films – Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed
Hum Icon of The Year – Shahid Khan Afridi.
However, Hum Awards proved globally that Pakistani talent has no limits and is able to project a soft image of Pakistan worldwide.
