70th Death Anniversary Of Quaid-e-Azam

When a great man dies, for years the light he leaves behind him, lies on the paths of men.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the “Founder of Pakistan” was born in Mahomedali Jinnahbhai; December 25th 1876 and left this World on the 11th of September 1948. He was a lawyer, a politician and the founder of Pakistan.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah battled a long struggle for the creation of Pakistan. Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until Pakistan’s independence on 14 August 1947, and then as Pakistan’s first Governor-General until his death.
  He was a leader who, instead of raising swords, used the weapons of unity, faith and discipline to achieve his goal. It seems like God created him for this purpose only.Today, the nation remembers the sacrifices of the great leader with utter respect and pays tribute to the “Founder of Pakistan” by posting tweets and sharing their thoughts on social media accounts.

 

 

Today, with due solemnity and reverence, the 70th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed. Prayers were held at Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi so a lot of people visted and also laid floral wreaths; as people wanted to pay respect to Jinnah. Imran Ismail (Sindh Governor), Chief Minister (Ali Shah) and Mayor Waseem Akhtar also paid a visit to the mausoleum and Waseem Akhtar mentioned that the great leader’s vision must be taken forward.

 

 
Quaid-e-Azam united the Muslims of the Subcontinent for obtaining a separate homeland so in order to highlight his such acts and thoughts, functions were held at several public and private organizations and educational institutions. Television channels planned special programs to pay tribute to the great leader.
