Ali Tareen Speaks Out on Shan Masood’s Exclusion from T20I Squad
Ali Tareen believes that Shan Masood, the captain that led Multan Sultan from 5th to 1st, should have been kept on the squad instead of Mohammad Rizwan as the latter is not a T20 player.
Ali Tareen, the owner of Multan Sultans, recently tweeted to express his shock about Shan Masood’s exclusion from the T20I squad playing in England. Tareen believes that Shan Masood, the captain that led Multan Sultan from 5th to 1st, should have been kept on the squad instead of Mohammad Rizwan as the latter is not a T20 player.
How is Shan Masood not in the squad! He was the 3rd highest Pakistani run scorer in the PSL, at a strike rate higher than Babar Azam. He captained a team from 5th to 1st. Ridiculous that he's not even in the squad! https://t.co/r5uIGhvo9A

When a user asked Ali Tareen who he would remove to bring in Shan Masood, the Multan Sultan owner replied:
Muhammad Rizwan, not a T20 batsman.

However, it does not look like many of the fans agree with Ali Tareen’s assessment of Shan Masood. Tareen sticked to his guns and supported his point throughout the debates on Twitter.

His strike rate was higher than Babar Azam and he scored more runs than Fakhar.
