Amber Heard claims that she used makeup to hide her bruises
The actress claims that she used makeup to hide her "marks from domestic violence".
Another new twist in the continuing Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. This time, the twist was brought in by Heard.
On Monday, she claimed that she used makeup to hide her scars that she suffered at the hands of Johnny Depp.
Depp’s attorneys contested that the claims made by Heard are false. Their main contention being that she appeared on a live talk show around the same time she claimed that she was abused.
Johnny Depp’s attorneys showcased the picture of Heard at the show. The pictures showcased no marks or scars what so ever.
Amber Heard responded with the claim that she covered up her bruises with make up. She claimed that she did so to prevent her scars and bruises from being exposed to the world.
The Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial enters its fifth week. So far, there has been no substantial evidence provided by Heard through which she could solidly demonstrate that Depp abused her.
Heard was also questioned about her divorce settlement with Johnny Depp. She claimed that upon receiving 7 million dollars, she would spend the money on charity.
When questioned as to why she did not fulfill her pledge, she said that she did not receive the full amount. However, in a cross examination, it was revealed that she received the full amount.
