Anushka Sharma denies to work opposite Salman Khan

Anushka Sharma has denied the reports of her signing a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali opposite Salman Khan.

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma teamed up for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan which was a blockbuster that released in the year 2016. Their chemistry and performance in the film were quite appreciated and now there were bits of gossip that the two will work together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next picture. Not long ago, Salman had affirmed that he will be doing a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie.

Rumors were that Anushka Sharma had signed on to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next movie opposite to Salman Khan.

However, Anushka has refuted the news.

Her spokesperson issued a statement clarifying:

“Anushka Sharma would love to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali but as of now, there is no truth to the speculations claiming Anushka has been signed for his next. We request you to kindly refrain from reporting on the same.”

Anushka is currently celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Virat Kohli in Australia. The star has taken a break from Zero promotions in which she stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Zero is set to release on December 21.
