Bollywood Actor Irrfan Khan Passed Away
Actor Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, after he had been admitted in hospital for his colon infection the previous day.
Actor Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, after he had been admitted in hospital for his colon infection the previous day. His spokesman said that the 53 years old actor was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Irrfan Khan had been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor back in 2018, and had been getting treated in the UK for it. The actor had returned to complete his movie Angrezi Medium. He is known in the western cinema for his performance in Life of Pi, Jurassic World, Slumdog Millionaire and The Namesake.
The Bollywood actor is survived by his wife Sutapa Sikdar and two sons Babil and Ayan. However, a few days back, his mother Saeeda Begum had also passed away in Jaipur at the age of 95. Sadly, Irrfan Khan had not been able to attend his mother’s funeral due to the COVID-19 lock down in India, and had paid his respects through a video.
