Since November 2019, Corona Virus took over China and then spread to the rest of the world. Slowly and gradually, different countries became a victim to the virus. With cases increasing at an unbelievable speed, there were cases in hundreds and thousands in many different countries. As a result of increasing cases, the number of deaths also increased, hence, proving it’s self to be as deadly as possible. There were precautions taken by many countries and they tried avoiding it, but al the countries failed to do so. Even the US couldn’t help its self, when it became infected with COVID-19.
COVID-19 (Corona VIrus Disease, 2019) has now claimed more than 500,000 lives globally, where most deaths took place in the US only. The total number of cases has also crossed 10,267,000 all around the world. Out of this, more than 5,568,000 have recovered globally. If we talk about Pakistan, the number of cases has crossed 200.000 with 95,000 people being recovered and 4,160 deaths, all across the country.
And the worst part of COVID-19 is, that as for now, the origin country, China, is going through a second phase of this disease. 15 new cases have come forward up till now. with no deaths for now. The word fears, that this second wave might take more lives than wave one. It is really important that someone comes up with an antidote as soon as possible, or this seems like a neverending disease. In underdeveloped countries, people fear that they might have to live with the virus for the rest of their lives.
The times are tough and it is actually essential for each person to look after themselves. It is important that they follow the SOPs for COVID-19 and keep their selves sanitized throughout. If not for them, then for those whom they love.
