Emily In Paris is Back With Season 2 and Everything We Know About It
The Emmy Nominated Netflix show, Emily in Paris, is back in December 2021 and fans can not wait for it. Here is all we know will happen in Season 2.
The Emmy nominated American-comedy drama, Emily in Paris, is coming back soon with a much-awaited second season on December 22, 2021.
Four days ago Lily Collins and Emily in Paris’s official Netflix account posted pictures teasing fans with new shots of the show. This made fans excited for the season 2 release date announcement which was going to be revealed very soon.
So a few hours ago Netflix gave us what we fans wanted so badly since the teaser pictures were released. THE RELEASE DATE AND A FIRST GLANCE TEASER FOR SEASON 2.
This teaser has made fans on social media get excited for what’s in store for us in season 2. Although we all knew since last fall that the show will be back when Netflix announced with a memo Sylvie penned for Emily saying she will be living in Paris for the foreseeable. Her memo read “We are writing to regrettably inform you that Emily Cooper will need to remain in Paris for an extended period of time. Despite her overconfident manner and lack of prior experience in luxury goods marketing, she has nonetheless managed to charm some of our hard-to-impress clients during her short time at Savoir. Call it bonne chance, or American ingenuity—I’m leaning towards the former—her results are impressive. We hope that by extending her time in Paris, Emily will further the relationships she has already made, delve deeper into our culture, and perhaps pick up a few words of basic French.”
What can be expected from Season 2?
It is safe to guess that we will get to see more of the fan-favorite love triangle between Emily, Gabriel, and Camille. In the 1st season, we were getting mixed feelings about Camille’s feelings about Emily. However, Season 2 pictures have made it clear that the bond between Emily, Mindy, and Camille will be getting much stronger with them hanging out most of the time and going on adventures in Paris.
Ashley Park talked to E! News in an interview about her role in the upcoming season and she said there will be a lot more music for Mindy in the season with her working in the drag club as a singer. And now that she is living with Emily, she will get to see Emily’s world and meet people at Savoir as well.
It is expected from the teasers that Emily will meet another guy and there will be a lot more challenges Emily will face at Savoir with a lot more eyerolls and attitude from Sylvie in the coming season.
