Dangal Star, Amir Khan announced his next film on his birthday which will be an adaptation of the 1994 Tom Hanks’ film, Forrest Gump. The film will be called Lal Singh Chaddha.
According to reports the megastar wants his 3 idiots costar, Kareena Kapoor to play his love interest in the Bollywood remake of the Hollywood movie. The final call for the casting has not been taken yet as Kareena has not confirmed for her part.
We cannot wait for the Duo to star in a new project but the question is will director Advait Chandan pull this off? or will it be a huge disastrous flop? Forrest Gump is a classic with Tom Hanks giving the performance of a lifetime. The original film won six Academy Awards including the categories for Best Actor, Best Director and Best Picture.
Amir Khan has no doubt produced the biggest blockbusters in the film industry but will he be able to top Tom Hank’s acting and succeed in providing us with another?
What do you think about this?
