Ideas 2018 off to a blasting success in Karachi

The 10th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) is a four-day event, being held at the Expo Center, Karachi. It was initiated on the 27th of November and will continue up to 30th November.
This occasion has invited 46,320 trade visitors and around 90 official defense delegations from 40 different countries around the world to our city to showcase the latest and top-notch technology in the field of weaponry and defense equipment.
Organized under the direct supervision of DEDO, IDEAS 2018 brought together members of the defense industry and other major exporters from various countries particularly China, Turkey, UAE, South Korea, and Russia.
The activities held at the event range from exclusive land, marine and aviation seminars and conferences to live demonstrations of advanced weapons and even a magnificent airshow performed by PAF at the Nishan-i-Pakistan, Sea View.
Two Russian naval ships are also gracing Pakistan for a port call during this event.
On the fourth day, the public will be welcomed into the doors of the Expo Center to view these beautiful devices of destruction. Interested individuals were required to register online beforehand.
Security all over the city has been significantly increased during these four days, with several areas blocked and crisis management centers put up at various locations to ensure quick resolving of any potential emergencies.
