Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Got Married Again In Georgia
A few weeks after announcing their engagement, the pair gathered close relatives and friends to their 2nd nuptials, which took place this Saturday.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck remarried this Saturday — in less than a month — in a spectacular wedding at Ben Affleck’s mansion in Atlanta Georgia, according to US press.
The A-list couple previously married in Las Vegas in the middle of July but renewed their vows in front of friends and family at Affleck’s 87-acre waterfront estate in the southeastern US state of Georgia.
Affleck is 50, and Lopez is 53. They got acquainted with the filming of the poorly received film Gigli in 2002.
The couple made headlines when they started dating but delayed their wedding in 2003. They declared the end of their relationship in early 2004.
People magazine stated that close Affleck buddy Matt Damon and director Kevin Smith were among the Hollywood personalities present at the 3-day event.
Attendees donned all-white outfits, while Lopez wore an Italian-made Ralph Lauren gown.
Before the wedding, images shared by celebrity news site TMZ revealed dinner tables being set up on what seemed to be a big, covered pier, with a massive boat for fireworks hovering nearby.
“Bennifer,” the pair’s famous moniker from their previous widely publicized affair, sparked outrage online a year ago when images of the pair together surfaced once more.
In April, Lopez and Affleck confirmed their engagement. In her blog, On The JLo, the ‘Jenny from the Block’ artist released a video of her looking sentimental and appreciating a green ring. According to reports in the United States, the ring was made of an emerald-cut light green gem.
The pair also discreetly married at a chapel in Las Vegas 20 years after they initially met. The singer’s cosmetics brand and close pals were also notified of the news via her newsletter.
