Jon “Bones” Jones Gets Arrested For DWI
UFC's Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon "Bones" Jones gets arrested for an apparent Drinking While Intoxicated charge in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC, has seen many in house fights. But sadly, UFC Champions do also get involved in out of the ring fights. And they result really good for them. Not only does it defames them, it also effects their career, which is always at stake. Yesterday, on 26th March, Jon Jones, A.K.A Jon “Bones” Jones, was stopped around 1 AM in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Police Officer had heard a gunshot prior to his arrest After being stopped, Police Office searched his car. However, not only did they find a bottle of alcohol, but they also found a handgun with one bullet shot.
“As part of the investigation into this incident, our Gun Violence Reduction Unit will test the firearm and bullet casing. It is to determine whether the gun has been used in any crime. “Reducing gun violence in Albuquerque is our top priority.” Said the Police Department
However, this is not the first time Jon Jones has been arrested over criminal charges. In 2015, he was arrested for a hit-and-run case which was later pleaded guilty. Moreover, in 2019 he was charged with battery after he assaulted a waitress in a strip club. Nevertheless, Jon Jones management team has not responded to his arrest this time.
Furthermore, there are other champions who have been mocking Jon Jones.

It is yet unknown what will happen to Jon Jones’s career now, but we hope to see him fighting again. The lad has got nerves of steel for sure.
