Delegations from Pakistan and India are all set to meet on July 14 at the Wagha Border to discuss important matters related to the Kartarpur Corridor.
Among discussion they will also agree on a time and date for the inauguration and decide if the opening will be held jointly. If they take a joint inauguration decision, potential representation from both sides will be needed. PM Imran Khan and Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa are likely to represent the Pakistani side.
Details regarding how many days will the corridor remain open and how many people will be allowed when it opens will also be discussed. Some devotees will be given visa exceptions so there is an issue of how many days they will be given access to the corridor and a limit on how much currency a person can carry. The construction of causeway also needs to be discussed.
