Kim Kardashian Helps Afghan Women Football Players Reach UK

Kim Kardashian has always used her money and fame to help those in greater need. This time around her actions have literally helped save the lives of countless young girls.

The reality star funded a flight that helped a group of Afghan women football players reach the UK. The flight had departed from Pakistan where the girls and their families were situated.

The flight had carried 30 players and 130 other people who were most family members of the young girls. The rescue mission was spearheaded by the former manager of the Afghan women national football team, Khalida Popal.

She said; “I’m so happy and so proud of these girls. They were traumatized. They’ve been through so much and managed to stay strong. Now they can start a new life and breathe freedom.”  

The flight was chartered by a Jewish aid group called the Tzedek Association. It’s President and Founder Rabbi Moshe Margaretten had expressed his happiness in helping these vulnerable girls out.

He said that when arranging a flight to help rescue these girls, he got a message from Kim Kardashian. In that message, she stated that she is willing to help fund the flight to evacuate these young girls

Since the Taliban takeover, many female athletes have escaped the country. Several western nations have come up to the forefront to help these women.

Australia helped evacuate members of the Afghan women’s national football team and bring them to their shores. While Portugal has given asylum to some member’s of the Afghanistan’s girls team.
