Harington plays the role of the beloved Jon Snow in the wildly famous show; Game of Thrones which is to release its final season on the summers of 2019.

The British actor has been a part of the hit fantasy drama for more than 7 years now and earlier wrapped his final scenes for the show. While it is extremely difficult to let go of such a major chapter of one’s life, Harington claims to not be upset about moving ahead with his career and never returning to the show, even if made possible.

While talking with BBC, Harington revealed, “It was emotional to leave the job definitely but I wouldn’t say I was sad. If like me, you go all the way back to the pilot of Game of Thrones, that’s almost 10 years of your life – that’s really unusual in an actor’s career. It was a huge emotional upheaval leaving that family. But would I want to go back and do more? Not on your life.”

There have been reports of the production of multiple spin-offs of the main show, with Naomi Watts confirmed to star in The Long Night, a prequel series which is to be set centuries before the events of the main show.

Unfortunately, we will not be seeing Harington star, or even make cameos, in any of these spin-offs. When asked about making small appearances in the prequel, he replied with a definite no.

Farewell, Lord Commander.
