Kulsoom Nawaz, former First lady and wife of jailed former PM Nawaz Sharif, has passed away after several months of cancer treatments and repeared coma inductions.
Diagnosed in London in the August of 2017, Kulsoom Nawaz had Lymphoma which is a type of cancer that affects the Lymph nodes. She went through multiple surgeries and more than five chemotherapy sessions.
The news of her passing is a terribly saddening one and people took to social media to offer condolences.
