The MD of KWSB directed the operational and field staff to be present and keep all machinery and instruments ready as needed in certain areas.

Asadullah Khan ordered the district superintending engineers to ensure that the manholes were covered with lids and that all pits and holes dug for maintenance purposes were levelled for maintenance purposes. He further asked them to remove any debris from near the manholes and/or sewerage lines.

Please try to stay indoors during the monsoon season, as KWSB has declared a rain emergency and COVID-19 is spreading faster than ever. Karachi still hasn’t had its dengue fumigation so try to ensure that there is no standing water near you.
