Meghan Markle Is Set to Launch a Charity Based Clothing Line
A new clothing line by Meghan Markle will be benefiting all the unemployed women.
Meghan Markle previously used to work as an actress whom she left after her marriage, but she didn’t stop there. She wanted to stay in the fashion and hence, she attended the fashion show last year in December. She has been working as a guest editor for September edition of British Vogue. Meghan recently said that she’ll launch a clothing line and it will benefit the women who want to work and are unemployed.
She has teamed up with designer and friend Misha Nonoo and British retailers Marks & Spencer, John Lewis & Partners and Jigsaw to create the collection. On every purchase, one article will be donated to charity which will help and empower women to perform better in their professional lives.
Meghan visited Smart Works in January and since then she has become a patron. Smart Works is a charity that provides clothes for women who are unemployed but want to work and are looking for jobs.
According to a Royal Reporter, Omid Scobie, the collection will be launched later this year and will sell for one-on-one basis.

The project sees @jlandpartners, @marksandspencer, @InsideJigsaw and @mishanonoo “come together to work towards this united force for good,” reads the Instagram post, and comes after a number of private visits to their London HQ over the past seven months. pic.twitter.com/gegMkR0ofr

“[Meghan] noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items… that didn’t necessarily “suit” the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview.” pic.twitter.com/2J48MTWc9D

Her countless efforts while being in the Royal family has made us realize her dedication towards bringing a change in this society. She is determined to help those who are not privileged and make their lives easier through her charity. She deeply feels for women who are confident but lack resources and this is where she jumps in and becomes a savior.
