Mike Tyson Punches An Airline Passenger On Video
Former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson repeatedly punched a passenger on a domestic flight from San Francisco to Florida with him.
Yesterday, investigators were looking into a video that showed legendary boxing champion Mike Tyson hitting a first-class traveller, who was in the same flight as the heavyweight champion, boarding an aircraft at the San Francisco International Airport.
Tyson can be seen punching the unnamed person in the head again and again with his back against the rear of the seat, causing bleeding. The video was initially released on the Instagram account of TMZ, which said it was shot aboard a Jet Blue flight going for Florida.
The guy can be seen hovering over the seat Mike Tyson was at, flailing his arms and chatting before the violent incident, as the professional athlete sits peacefully.
Officials in charge of the scene claimed San Francisco policemen reacted to a “violent altercation” between the passenger and Tyson on an aircraft at the airport terminal for domestic flights about on Wednesday at 10 p.m.
Witnesses say the former heavyweight championship winner, Mike Tyson, was initially courteous with the star-struck customers, but his patience ran thin after getting continually prodded by the man seated behind him. Sources reportedly claim that ‘big Mike’ reacted immediately after the highly inebriated man sought to take pictures with the celebrity.
In an email to The Associated Press, spokespeople for Tyson said, “Unfortunately, Mike Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat.”
Statement by police revealed that both were free to go from the SFPD and the investigation is now underway. “Officers came and apprehended two individuals suspected of being engaged in the incident.” One person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the site. According to police, “that person supplied little facts of the occurrence and refused to participate further with the police investigation,” according to a statement released on Thursday.
Sarah Burchfield, a witness of the fight and another aircraft traveller, said she witnessed the guy Mike Tyson hit earlier in front of an airport lounge becoming loud and obnoxious. She explained, “The angry person was seated close behind him, and I watched them chatting.” She stated she heard the fight in first-class a brief time afterwards.
