The Minister of State for Narcotics Control Shehryar Khan Afridi announced on the microblogging platform Twitter that he tested positive for COVID-19. 

The Minister of State for Narcotics Control Shehryar Khan Afridi announced on the microblogging platform Twitter that he tested positive for COVID-19 on May 30.

Shehryar Afridi has emphasised upon social distancing and self isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic to stop the spreading.

Leaders, other than Shehryar Afridi, that are affected by COVID-19

Other PTI leaders that have been infected by COVID-19 include NA Speaker Asad Qaiser, Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail, and the recently deceased MPA Shaheen Raza.

From other parties the infected include but are not limited to PPP MPA Rana Hameer Singh, Jamaat-e-Islami MPA Abdul Rasheed, and PMLN MPA Rana Arif Iqbal.
