This news is equally sad for all the Aishwariya fans too as her upcoming “Fanney Khan“, a musical comedy film which is directed by Atul Manjrekar will also be not screened here in Pakistan.
A notification has been published by the Ministry of Information, stating that “No Indian films will be exhibited during the period around Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.”
The ban will be in place two days before Eid and will continue for two weeks after Eid. The ban may increase the viewers of Pakistani movies and it will help to promote the film industry.
