Pakistan To Inaugurate The Kartarpur Corridor
Pakistan will open its anticipated Kartatrpur Border Corridor on 9th of November.
Lahore, Pakistan will open its Kartarpur Border Corridor on 9th of November, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Sunday.
The construction on Kartarpur Border Corridor between Indian and Pakistan has entered its final stage. The corridor connects the Sikh shrines of Dera Baba Nanak Shaib and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib.
Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote on social media platform, “Pakistan is all set to open its doors for Sikhs from all across the globe, as the construction work on Kartarpur project enters final stages and will be open to public on November 9, 2019.”
Pakistan has also invited former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to attend the ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor on the occasion of the 550th Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Quershi told sources that former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has accepted the invitation to attend the Kartarpur Corridor inauguration ceremony as ‘common man’.
