Pakistani Actors React to Esra Bilgiç Becoming a Local Brand Ambassador
Esra Bilgiç became the brand ambassador for Q Mobile and it seems that Pakistani actors, such as Yasir Hussain, Minal Khan, Aiman Khan, Armeena Khan, Aijaz Aslam, Bilal Ashraf and Anoushey Ashraf, are discussing whether she should be the brand ambassador or not.
Recently, Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç became the brand ambassador for Q Mobile and it seems that Pakistani actors, such as Yasir Hussain, Minal Khan, Aiman Khan, Armeena Khan, Aijaz Aslam, Bilal Ashraf and Anoushey Ashraf, are once again clashing over whether she should be the brand ambassador or not.
The argument started when Yasir Hussain asked on his Instagram story about why Pakistani brands are not hiring a Pakistani brand ambassador?
“Don’t you think a Pakistani brand should have a Pakistani ambassador? Not Indian or Turkish?” he said. “Is Mahira, Saba, Sonya, Minal, Aiman, Amar, Zara, Haniya, Sana, Yumna, Armeena, Sara, Hira… anyone not worthy enough to be a brand ambassador for a Pakistani brand?”
Both Minal and Aiman Khan also spoke out in Yasir’s favor, agreeing in their Instagram stories.
As Yasir started off a controversy, it led to many people speaking their minds about what they thought of the actor’s comments. However, Armeena Khan came to his support.

However, not all celebrities are in favor of Yasir Hussain’s comments it seems. Both Bilal and Anoushey Ashraf disagreed with Yasir’s comments.

Even veteran actor Aijaz Aslam put his two cents in, stating that a little competition is good and that everyone should take it easy. “When a Turkish drama will come, so will Turkish actors, what is the problem? We should also learn Turkish language.”
