Sarah Mahboob and Kiran Khan to be honored on Women's Day
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently issued a press release. According to the press release, Pakistan’s top tennis player Sarah Mahboob Khan and Olympic swimmer Kiran Khan will be honored on Hamaray Heroes on Women’s Day.

Kiran Khan has represented Pakistan in many Olympic events and has been awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for her services. In her career, she has won 327 gold medals, along with 47 medals in international events. She has been recognised by the World Olympians Association. She was also announced as the Pakistan Youth Icon in 2008 and won the Benazir Women Excellence in 2009. She is considered a hero by many young girls who wish to break barriers like her.
Hamaray Heroes: Sarah Mahboob Khan
Sarah Mahboob Khan is a Rawalpindi-born tennis player who has been playing since 2005. She has represented Pakistan in international tennis matches and was the first Pakistani female tennis player to qualify for the main draw of an ITF tournament. She has won Pakistan national titles on clay, hard, and grass, and has clinched a record number of National Rankings Ladies’ Singles Titles. These include BB Shaheed ranking 2015 tennis title and Subh e Nau NBP Ladies National Tennis Championship 2019 title. In February 2011, she became the first Pakistani female tennis player to represent Pakistan in the Fed Cup tournaments and was part of the Pakistani Fed Cup squad. Her victories and hard work make her a hero to our nation.
What is Hamaray Heroes?
Hamaray Heroes is a user-based campaign launched before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 through which fans and followers can nominate Pakistan’s unsung heroes through the PSL website.
