We have got some great news for all the fans of ‘The Hunger Games’ as Suzanne Collins has announced that she has been working on a new novel which will be a prequel to the previous Hunger Game novels.

This novel is set to be dated 64 years back into the dark days when this whole fighting fiasco had started and people were chosen to fight and kill each other and Panem will be in a phase of rebuilding itself.
She has mentioned a few details however, the novel’s name has not been disclosed but it will be releasing on 19th of May, 2020. Previous hunger games books and movies have done really well and bagged nearly $3billion at worldwide box office.
Collins said:
“Dystopian stories are places where you can play out the scenarios in your head — your anxieties — and see what might come of them. And, hopefully, as a young person, with the possibilities of the future waiting for you, you’re thinking about how to head these things off.”
It will be based on a dystopia which means that it will have a post-apocalyptic era in which the state of the society is in distress and great suffering. This book might also be converted into a movie just like the previous ones as Lionsgate Movies have shown interest in a tweet they posted.
May the odds be ever in your favor. We can hardly wait for Suzanne's next book to be published! https://t.co/yRY2Y2ZVED
