Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Show Off Their Daughter For The First Time
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt finally reveal their one-year-old daughter Raha Kapoor while arriving at the Kapoor family Christmas dinner.
The eager photographers snapped pictures of Bollywood’s lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt with their infant daughter Raha Kapoor on Monday before the Kapoor family’s Christmas supper. The couple had never before ventured out in public with their toddler.
Accompanied by Ranbir Kapoor, Raha and Alia smiled for photographers while wearing lovely holiday attire. The Indian media claims that the one-year-old resembles her deceased grandfather, Rishi Kapoor. Like her cousins Taimur, Jeh, and Inaya, Raha has gorgeous blue coloured eyes.
Although this is the couple’s first public appearance together, they had previously stuck to their guns about keeping their firstborn out of the spotlight. Alia offered her thoughts on the subject during her appearance with Kareena Kapoor Khan on the eighth season of Koffee With Karan. The Rocky and Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress disclosed that she lost it when her daughter’s photos appeared on the internet.
Ranbir was asked, “I think she (Alia) is very fiercely protective of her (Raha). Why is that?” host Karan during the Koffee with Karan interview. Why is this the case? In response, Alia said, “At that time I remember I felt like a picture came out of hers, and it was our schedule in Kashmir for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. It was a very, very difficult schedule for me because it was my first time shooting after giving birth.”
She went on, “I wasn’t sleeping at night, I was feeding, I was rushing in between shoots. So I called Ranbir and I told him I was finding it very difficult so he pushed his work and said ‘Don’t worry, I’m going to come and pick her up.”
Alia continued, saying, “It was very relaxing for me but it was also the first time I was separating from (Raha) so I felt very guilty. So that guilt carried on and it was just one and a half days later that I travelled back and I saw a photo where the side of her face was kind of visible and I just broke down.”
