Jagga Jasoos managed to wipe off its feet from the floors of Bollywood box office. Just like the other flop films, it couldn’t garner much attention, neither could it stay to the silver screens. But, this doesn’t go well with the Daddy of lead actor Ranbir Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor, after watching his son fail on box office once again, did a major ranting against the filmmaker Anurag Basu. Other than lashing out at Basu, known for his worth in Indian cinema, Papa Bear also slammed Pritam for the delayed delivery of the film’s music.
Since then, all the eyes were on RK Junior and how is he going to react to this situation. Finding the right time, Ranbir was swarmed at the trailer of Sanjay Dutt’s long awaited comeback ‘Bhoomi’ and was bombarded with questions related to his father’s dismal reaction to the movie.
Guess what? Ranbir doesn’t agree with what his father had to say about the movie:
“My father is a very emotional man. I think whatever he said was to protect me, from where he was coming. I don’t necessarily agree with what he did or what he said. Like I said, Jagga Jasoos is something that we’ve worked on for three and a half years. We all were aware of what we were doing and what was being made. Sometimes you succeed sometimes you fail. I don’t look at it (Jagga Jasoos) as a failure, I look at it as a learning. I think it has given me a lot, the experience of working with Anurag Basu and everyone on the film. So yes, I can’t answer for someone else, but I don’t necessarily agree with it.”
Well, we can’t say that we are smitten with Ranbir’s generosity towards his furious father’s remarks. Because, you know, no matter how popular a Desi kid is, he can never say against his own father!
