Resham Says She Threw Plastic In The River Out of “Carelessness”
Resham apologised to her followers on Instagram and described accidentally throwing plastic in the river as her biggest professional blunder.
The people were outraged when actor Resham, who was on his way to Charsadda to aid flood victims, threw plastic rubbish into a river. Many individuals, including celebrities, criticised her for contributing to Pakistan’s pollution issue when her video went viral. The actor has since repented in front of the public after at first calling out individuals for “personally attacking her.”
She referred to it as the “worst error” of her professional life and pledged to ensure that it would never happen again. She apologised from the “bottom of her heart” at the end of her video message.
She uploaded a video on Instagram on Wednesday in which she apologised to her fans and the entire country. She began by apologising since what occurred shouldn’t have been. She apologised to the entire country and all her followers for what happened since it was thoughtless and not intended. She said she personally, believes that keeping our nation clean is our responsibility. And that she made mistakes too since she is a human like everyone else, she said.
The actress, Resham, was seen dispersing meat and some bread she was holding in the viral video footage while hopping out of the automobile on a motorway. People were irritated by Resham’s choice to dump the plastic bags and boxes the food was packaged in into the river while she stood by the side of the bridge and videotaped the act.
People on social media and celebrities like Shaneira Akram and many more voiced criticism. The actor responded to the backlash by telling The Friday Times that there are more important things to be concerned about in a chat. Every day, women are brutally molested here. Women are frequently the victims of violence. She said she was just giving charity or sadaqah, she explained.
“I am in Charsadda as we speak. I have been quietly helping thousands affected in the calamity-hit district. But, of course, people are only interested in trolling me. I do a lot of good too,” she had told the people.
