Veteran actresses Rubina Ashraf and Sakina Samo have tested positive for COVID-19. It has been reported that they are both now isolating themselves.
Veteran actresses Rubina Ashraf and Sakina Samo have tested positive for COVID-19. It has been reported that they are both now isolating themselves. Both Rubina and Sakina were experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and had decided to get themselves tested just in case. Their families will now also be tested for the virus.
Who are Rubina Ashraf and Sakina Samo?
Rubina Ashraf made her debut on screen in a play by Ashfaque Ahmed called Aur Dramay. However, her real break came with Sawan Roop. In her career, she has given life to both positive and negative characters – while she is known for her serious roles, she has done comedy work as well. Salaam and Sitarya are two of her most know comedy works.
She is known for her work in Pas-e-Aina, Yariyan, Morr Uss Gali Ka, Amma In Action, Tumhe Kuch Yaad Hai Jaana, Kasak and many more.
Sakina Samo began her acting career in regional television plays and radio dramas in Pakistan. Her breakthrough screen performance in Dewarain put Sakina into the spotlight and earned her many accolades. In 2011, she received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in recognition of her work in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
She is known for her work in Dewarain, Mehndi, Aansoo, Aur Zindagi Badalti Hai, and many more.
