Russia And Pakistan Embark Road To Friendship

The Russian defense ministry on Thursday announced that the representatives of armed forces of Russia and Pakistan have agreed to hold joint drills Friendship-2019in russia in october. 

Special purpose groups consisting of russian and pakistani military personnel will be performing special tasks and practise combat training using russian artillery.  

“The joint exercise will be held with the aim of exchanging experience between military personnel, developing and strengthening military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries,” the ministry said in a statement.

These drills will involve approximately 50 Russians from armed forces unit and the drills will be held at the Molkino training range in the southern Russian Krasnodar region. The number of Pakistanis are yet to be disclosed.

The drills are aimed to develop and strengthen bilateral relations and exchange military experience between the countries.
