To ensure safety measures for civilians, schools will remain closed on Wednesday, 7th May 2025, until further notification is received. The air strike attack from the Indian military targeting locations including Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Punjab, including Kotli, Ahmadpur East, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, and Muridke.
The attack reportedly killed three people reportedly dead and left several injured, including a child. In response Pakistani military shot down two Indian fighter jets and destroyed a brigade headquarters and a checkpoint across the Line of Control (LoC).
The government has not made an official announcement yet on how long the schools will remain closed. However, the government emphasized that the move is a precautionary measure in light of the current threats.
