Solis, just like Tomorrowland, is an EDM festival that has just taken EDM fans by surprise. Unexpectedly, it was more better and more fun than one could have expected, that too, in Karachi. After visiting several other cities, Solis came to Karachi on 16th November 2019, at Moin Khan Academy.
Clean Bandit was what compelled people to visit the festival. An international band, playing in Karachi, was not only surprising but also thrilling for Karachiites. The festival started at around 2 PM, but not many people came in at that time. Prior to Clean Bandit, Soul Potion,Hussain Dosa, Maleo, Neha, Turhan James, Oceanvs Orientalis, FDVM and Kill The Buzz had stage to themselves. There was a surise element and a special appearance too. Ayesha Omer took the stage to herself, who for sure, lighted it up brilliantly.
People started to pour in late as there were no such timings for the gates to close. Majority came in around 9 PM, as they wanted to enjoy Clean Bandit only.
One thing that was quite evident about Solis was the management. The entire festival was amazingly managed by the organizers including Keys Productions, who took care of the event to their best. Solis had bouncers standing at every corner, as to avoid any unfortunate turn of event. With separate pathways for each category, one could say, there had a lot of hard work as to maintain the decorum of the event.
If we conclude the event in a line, we can say the event was outstanding. All thanks to Catwalk PR, who invited us to Solis, thankfully. Karachiites rarely get a chance to enjoy such events due to the security conditions. And when they do, they make sure, they enjoy it to their best.
