Stranger Things Season 4 Is Coming To Netflix in May 2022
Stranger Things is coming back with another huge season on Netflix. The series will be divided into two parts and season 5 will be the finale of the series.
It is true Stranger Things season 4 part 1 is going to release on May 27.
Despite the delay in the fourth season Stranger Things has stayed one of the substantial and important series and franchises on Netflix with several comics and mobile games. And the series even managed to win six Emmy awards and be nominated for 31.
It is about time we get another season of one of the most liked series, Stranger Things. In an Instagram post, on Netflix’s official account, a few hours ago it was revealed that the series is coming back after a break of almost 3 years.
Stranger Things season 4 will however be divided into two parts. The first part is set to be released on Netflix on May 27th and the second part will come to Netflix on July 1st. However, along with this good news came a piece of bad news that season 5 of Stranger Things will be the finale.
Along with the announcement of season 4 dates, Matt and Ross Duffer also wrote a note to fans. They told the fans about what they planned for the series seven years ago saying, “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four but — as you’ll see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale.”
“With nine scripts, over 800 pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things season 4 was the most challenging season yet the most rewarding one,” they wrote.
They also wrote that season 4 is divided into two due to the “unprecedented length” of the season. And although they announced the end of the series in the note, there is a possibility that they may come up with a series about the characters in Strangers things as the note said, “There are more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things, new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.” This statement has provided fans with expectations of a sequel or prequel.
The series has given fame to several child actors like Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobbi Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Finn Wolfhard.
According to sources, the production of the finale season hasn’t started and season four has been one of the most expensive ones.
The official rendition of season four is “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time — and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
