Joyland, Pakistan’s official Oscar entry that won a Cannes award, was banned by the Central Board of Film Censors shortly before it hit theatres.

In a recent decision, the PTA banned Tinder, Grindr, Tagged, and Skout, citing that they contained “immoral content” for Pakistanis. 

The massive revenue brought by Bollywood material is known to us all. Despite that, the Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) has demanded a complete ban on the release of all Indian films in the Country.
