It's been reported that Ben Affleck has signed a contract with HBO Max to come back as Batman. Affleck signed after the Snyder Cut was announced for 2021.
#ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement started around the release of Justice League. The movie had been directed by Zack Snyder, but he had been replaced by Joss Whedon, who is known for directing The Avengers.
