Often times, the world just feels extra heavy and it may feel it is slipping between your fingers like a beach sand. The weight on your chest tightens, the problems feel magnificent and in that moment you find Allah. The days that are filled with hopelessness and melancholy of uncertainty infuse your mind, have Tawakkul. It wraps around you like a blanket of reassurance. I know, it is hard and a lot of people might tell you to be patient, but easier said than done right? Be impatient, ask Allah, impatiently, but believe with every cell in your body that He listens (As-Sami) and He responds (Al-Mujeeb) and the more you believe that He will fix things and He does not leave any one stranded, it will fill you with an unexpected calmness.

The pain, fear, and hopelessness that you feel, He knows, He is watching and He will provide.
But how do you leave something that probably defined every aspect of your life? How to believe that it will get better? And a million other questions like that. Here is where Tawakkul comes in. Be rigid in your Duas, plead for your wishes and accept that it will happen and it will happen in a way that will reveal to you that He, indeed is the best of planners.
Tawakkul does not mean you cannot complain, or be impatient, it means that we can expect, we can take help from worldly means, it does not negate our Tawakkul. Many people confuse Tawakkul with resignation and the secession of striving. But by no means does Tawakkul mean one ceases to struggle.

Believe In Him
Tawakkul is not an act of the limbs it is an act of the heart. And so while the limbs are striving hard, the heart is completely reliant on Allah. This means whatever the outcome of the limbs’ striving, the heart will be completely satisfied, knowing that it is the flawless decision of Allah. But in order to reach this level, one must hold on to hope, strive with the limbs, and let go with the heart.
