The internet is buzzing all courtesy of the trailer release for the upcoming Spider-Man movie called “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.
The trailer highlights how the upcoming movie picks up from where it last left off. If fans recall, the previous installment titled “Spider-Man: Far From Home” ends with Peter Parker being revealed as the real Spider-Man. In addition the villain from that movie named Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) frames Parker for his murder.
In the trailer for the upcoming film, Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) seeks help from Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) to help the world forget about his secret identity.
However, things take a turn for the worst and what ends up happening is the return of all the arch nemesis that Spider-Man had faced in the previous installments. These include Doctor Octopus (played by Alfred Molina), Electro (played by Jamie Foxx) and The Green Goblin (played by William Defoe).
The movie is one of Marvel’s most anticipated films of the year. There has been much speculation around the casting of the film. These include the rumor that Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also be a part of this movie.
The very speculation of all three Spider-Men being in one film has helped create a massive buzz around the film. However, the trailer does not show any signs of all three being in the film at once. Whether all three actually appear in the movie can only be confirmed once the movie releases.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to hit theatres on 17th December 2021.
