This slang word is particularly used for someone who isn’t following the coronavirus guidelines. That person is referred to as a covidiot because they’re being an idiot during the pandemic by not practicing social distancing or any of the other guidelines mentioned by either WHO of the government. Covidient
Covidient is someone who is not taking this coronavirus lightly and staying at home. That person is following all the instructions like a responsible citizen and being obedient. It’s the opposite of covidiot. During this time, being a covidient is the best thing you can do.
WFH
WFH is actually short for ‘Work from Home’. Now since everyone is practicing social distancing, it was advised to work from home during the coronavirus pandemic. Hence, the emergence and normalization of this coronavirus slang word happened. WFH is the new thing as everything has shifted online and we’re in this modernized digital era.
Quarantine and Chill
As people can’t go out or meet in person, quarantine and chill has become the newest way of entertaining yourself. People have been chilling while in quarantine and posting their pictures online. Rona
Rona is the short form for coronavirus. The Gen Z started calling coronavirus as ‘Miss Rona’ or ‘The Rona’ on Twitter and also shared a couple of memes about the pandemic.
Post-Rona
Post-rona is the time that will be after coronavirus comes to an end. Everyone started sharing what they want to do after this pandemic ends or during post-rona.
Zumping
The act of dumping or breaking up with someone but on zoom is called as zumping. Zumping has become quite popular especially during this time. No wonder it has become a widely used coronavirus slang word too. We’re living in a digital era so modern problems require modern solutions.
Zoom-bombing
Just like photobombing, zoom-bombing is when an uninvited guest tries to crash a zoom meeting. Usually happens in online classes when someone who is not a part of the class joins it and tries to interrupt the class.

Doomscrolling is just like scrolling social media but while you’re in quarantine. Hence, you’re doomed as you can’t keep your eyes off of all the social media posts. A doomscroller knows what’s going on. He’s got all the tea!

It’s quite obvious that there will be a spike in new-born babies after a few months. Many have already decided what these babies born during or after coronavirus will be called.
