TLP to Protest Against ‘Zindagi Tamasha’

Sarmad Khoosat's Zindagi Tamasha isn't being taken positively in the country and especially all the 'Mullahs' almost, are going crazy after him.

Sarmad Khoosat got done with his latest movie ‘Zindagi Tamasha’. He was really glad about finishing up this amazing movie. The movie revolved around a person, who was ‘Qaari’ by profession. Moreover, he was accused of molesting kids and had to face the consequences. The society didn’t accept him after the release of his illicit videos on social media. One distinguished mindset had issues with the movie.

The movie was cleared by all three sensor boards. However, the people of Pakistan didn’t take it well. And to be specific, this special mindset belongs to those who have been supporting such acts, per se. Initially the director started receiving threat calls. Further, there have been rallies against him, scheduled, in the country. Well, none other than TLP has taken the issue in their hands. Regardless of it being unlawful, TLP has decided to march to record protest against Zindagi Tamasha.

But, the makers haven’t given up yet. Sarmad Khoosat’s father, Irfan Ali Khoosat, took the matter in his hands. He has filed a petition in Lahore Civil Court against TLP. “The defendant (TLP) who has no concern whatsoever with the above-said film is trying to interfere into the smooth running public screening/releasing of the above-mentioned film in cinema screen all around the country without any lawful justification,” the petition read.

Moreover, Sarmad Khoosat also took the issue to social media. He wrote a letter in the name of the country. He addressed the letter to “my beloved Pakistan and Pakistanis”. Here is what he wrote.

It is sad to see that the highlighted issue isn’t the problem for protestants, evidently. Rather it is the movie made in it’s reaction. We, as a country are failing to see the roots of issues, evidently. If movies on social issues won’t be made, people wouldn’t know what happens in the society.

We wish Khoosat Films the very best of luck for Zindagi Tamasha, and support the whole team throughout their cause.
