Umar Akmal who is a Pakistani middle order batsman and the younger brother of renown wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal is all set to represent Quetta Gladiators in the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League.
According to recent developments Akmal has been traded by Lahore Qalanders, a team he represented in the last four seasons in exchange of left-arm-pacer Rahat Ali.
Umar Akmal’s move to Quetta Gladiators marks a new chapter in the talented batsman’s T20 career who will be looking to improve on his performances from last year.

Meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Umar said: “Umar Akmal is a world-class addition to the Gladiators squad ahead of PSL season 4. Umar Akmal remains one of the most destructive batsmen in Pakistan and he will add much-needed firepower in our batting.
