Virgin Atlantic’s first flight lands in Pakistan. The British airline will commence its operations in Pakistan from 13th December as the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has approved its flight operations to and from Pakistan.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan (SAPM) for overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Bukhari along with British high commissioner Christian Turner welcomed Virgin Airlines at Islamabad Airport on Friday.

The British airline requested PCAA on 2nd December and in response to that they approved their request and now Virgin Atlantic’s first flight landed in Pakistan and soon they will be operating its flights to and from Islamabad and Lahore from the 13th of December. The airline will use A-332 aircraft to continue its weekly eight-flight operations to the two cities.

According to the schedule approved by PCAA, the first passenger flight VS365 will be taking off from London on 13th December and will land at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on the 14th of December.

The airline will operate four weekly flights between London and Lahore and three weekly flights between London and Islamabad. The airline has also got permission to operate flights from Manchester.
