Waqar Younis to Quit Social Media After Allegedly Getting Hacked

Waqar Younis lands in trouble after fans noticed that he liked an obscene video, but he claimed that he was hacked and is quitting social media.

On May 28, the bowling coach of the national men’s cricket team Waqar Younis landed in trouble after fans noticed that an obscene and immoral video was liked from his account. A similar activity was noticed two years ago, however this time Waqar Younis has stated that he was hacked and plans to quit social media.

Waqar Younis’ announcement to quit social media after being hacked came on the microblogging platform Twitter the next morning in the form of a video:

When I woke up this morning, I found out that someone had hacked my twitter account and liked an obscene and immoral video using my account. This is very shameful, disappointing and hurtful to me and my family. I thought social media is a medium to interact with your fans.

However, this is not the first time something like this has happened. It has happened before as well. So it looks like this guy will not mend his ways, hence I have decided to quit social media because my family is more important to me. I am sorry if anyone is hurt because of this.

While the former pacer had unliked the tweet later on, it seems that many of his followers had already taken screenshots of the activity.

The only difference between the activity two years ago and today is that Waqar has openly discussed the issue and not ignore it.
