Waqar Zaka Helps KP Assembly Pass Resolution for Cryptocurrency
After years of struggle, Waqar Zaka has finally accomplished his milestone as the KP Assembly passed the cryptocurrency bill.
Waqar Zaka is a name that is not unknown to any Pakistani. He’s a famous personality and has hosted many TV shows as well. Apart from that, he’s been educating the audience about basic Islamic knowledge and technology through his videos using a new video making format that has not been opted for by any other online content creator.
Not only is Waqar Zaka known for his presence on television, but also for his struggle to bring technological advancements in Pakistan. Zaka launched his political party, Tehreek-e-Technology Pakistan, which promises to bring technological revolution to the country.
The most noticeable and recent milestone of Waqar Zaka is the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly passing a draft of the cryptocurrency bill. His efforts have not gone in vain and soon he’ll be tapping other provinces as well and legalize cryptocurrency in Pakistan, which will be a huge asset for the country’s economy. Even before participating in the upcoming elections, Zaka has been working behind the scenes to bring a change.
One province done , three more to go , KPK visit brought fruitful results. Now I will be going to Punjab , Baluchistan to get these bills passed for crypto , Technology Movement Pakistan producing results even before getting into elections https://t.co/SwWo6n7ife

Zaka also thanked Mr. Mian Ateeq Sheikh, a Pakistani politician and a member of the Senate of Pakistan, in a video that was posted on his Twitter earlier. He mentioned that he’s the only senator who understands the importance and is helping legalize cryptocurrency in Pakistan.

Waqar Zaka has been striving to get cryptocurrency legalized in Pakistan since 2014 when Bitcoin’s value was just 100 USD (current value is 1 Bitcoin = 19,352.30 USD). There are currently no rules or laws that can deem cryptocurrency as legal or illegal. State Bank stated that it will not be responsible for any losses if one gets scammed. Nevertheless, the mining of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies is still considered controversial in Pakistan.
It’s safe to say that Waqar Zaka is the only person who is trying to conceive a better future for Pakistan by making it technologically better and stronger. Zaka is the one who has approached all of these governmental institutions, even the Prime Minister, hoping to legalize cryptocurrency in Pakistan. He’s just a few steps closer to making cryptocurrency legal in Pakistan and is also going to visit other provinces and get the bill passed there as well.
