War Might Effect World Economy

Muhammad Bin Salman thinks that war with Iran might devastate the world economy.

In an interview with a CBS Program, 60 minutes, MBS was quite prompt in regards to relations with Iran. When asked upon war with Iran, MBS said that war with Iran would devastate the economy. He further said that he looks forward to non-military solution to ease things with his political rival.

According to MBS, “If the world does not take a strong and firm action to deter Iran, we will see further escalations that will threaten world interest”. What seems more like a threatening remark, MBS felt like warning the world in case Saudi and Iran comes face to face. Obviously, thew whole world depends on Saudi oil. “Oil supplies will be disrupted and oil prices will jump to unimaginably high numbers that we haven’t seen in our lifetimes”

Like the parent country, America, Saudi Arab has been blaming Iran for the oil facility attacks. Iran on the other hand has been denying it since day 1. Whereas, Yemen has been accepting the attacks, but aren’t being believed upon. One one hand, Saudi feels like deterring Iran and on the other hand are blaming the country for the attacks and is looking for war. Iran, a country who can engage in to war, is doing its best to not start one at the moment.

– JAMAL KHASHOGGI

When questioned upon Jamal Khashoggi’s murder, MBS clearly denied the accountability. “Absolutely not. This was a heinous crime. But I take full responsibility as a leader in Saudi Arabia, especially since it was committed by individuals working for Saudi Government”. Khashoggi’s body was never found.

Saudi Arab and Iran are expected to come face to face as per the political conditions. However, that would only ruin the world’s economy. Also, it would effect the countries catering both the religious sects of Islam, Shiite and Sunnis.

Say no to war!
