Through this 2021 Spotify Wrapped list, we get a clearer idea of the type of musical taste Pakistanis posses. In terms of artist, the Indian singer Arijit Singh was the most streamed artist in the country.
While the legend himself, Atif Aslam, was the most streamed Pakistani artist in the country. In terms of international artists, the Korean boy band BTS was the most streamed artist on the platform.
When it came to songs, the most listened to single was “Ghalat Fehmi” by Asim Azhar. This was then followed by “Gumaan” by Young Stunners and “Afsanay” by Talha Anjum. In terms of the most streamed non Pakistani song, that accolade went to “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by Lil Nas X.
