Those literate, are they all literate enough? Well, I doubt. Being a citizen of Karachi, which has the highest literacy rate, I get to see things which are unbelievable. From people literally getting off good cars and pissing roadside to throwing things out on road, we see this everyday all the time. Is it actually legit enough to blame government for that?
“We can’t be wrong, its the government.”
Let us look at our beaches. People have stopped visiting Sea View, because of two basic reasons. One. it stinks and two it has litter all around. Neither does the government officials do that nor does the army. We, normal citizens, do that. We throw wrappers and cans out on the road while driving. We spit pan and ‘gutka’ on the roads, regardless of where we are. We prefer having food in our car and throwing the leftovers on the roadside. As individuals, we litter around and cry for justice and clean city at the end. Why to blame the government again?
People actually steal electricity and cry over load shedding. They break the signals while driving and blame the policemen for arresting them. “What we sow shall we reap”. The litter we throw results in blocked drainage. Is it too hard to keep litter in car till you reach home and throw in the bin? Is it too hard to wait for a couple of minutes till the signal turns green?
We citizens are so illiterate that we used the dustbin at beach to click pictures with. And then we blame the government. Its not they are all saints, but even we, as citizens, are no less sinners. You have to rectify yourself in order to make this country a better place to live.

Lets all join hands, and try to be better people ourselves so that, if not we, our next generation might see and live a happy life in the country that was made with many sacrifices.
