Sacred Games on-screen actor Kubra Sait has talked with regards to co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui after previous Miss India Niharika Singh blamed him for sexual harassment.
Niharika asserted that the Manto star, who she dated in 2009, forced himself on her at her flat one day. “One morning, when I was home and he had been shooting all night, Nowaz sent me a text saying he was near my building. I invited him over and asked him to come and have breakfast with me. When I opened the door, he grabbed me. I tried to push him away but he wouldn’t let go. After a little coercion, I finally gave in. I wasn’t sure what to make of this relationship,” she wrote.
The previous Miss India claimed that she finished the relationship after she discovered that the actor would frequently mislead her.
However, Siddiqui’s Sacred Games co-actor Kubbra Sait has come forward to trash those claims and tweeted against all these allegations.
I stand by the fact that although Niharika Singh may have had a tough time in the industry, categorising her once personal relationship as a #MeToo statement is incorrectly placed. We as humans are flawed. That isn’t gender specific.

The year-old #MeToo movement assembled force in India after Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta blamed well-known actor Nana Patekar for wrong conduct on a film set 10 years prior.
Nawazuddin is yet to remark on these claims.
