There are countless young CEOs that are making a difference in the country. Through their countless initiatives, they have helped transform the business landscape in Pakistan. This article looks at some of the young Pakistani CEOs that are helping make a difference.

Khalida Brohi:

Through her social organization, Brohi has helped make a huge difference on Pakistani society in terms of empowering women. The Sughar Empowerment Society was set up in response to a personal tragedy that had deeply impacted Brohi. The honour killing of her friend prompted her to set the organization to help improve the situation of women in tribal areas. The organization aim towards ending social issues such as child marriages and honour killing.

Noorain Khan:

A former Rhodes Scholar who had studied law at Yale, she had worked as an attorney at Wachtell and Lipton. After which she had become a co founder of Teach For All, an organization consisting of other enterprises from around the world, working towards enhancing educational opportunities for young people in their respective countries. She is now a Director of the President’s Office at the Ford Foundation, an organization aimed at helping ensure social justice and equality around the world.

Sidra Qasim:

She is the CEO of the highly popular shoe brand Markhor. The shoe brand is not your typical retail firm. The business employs workers from rural areas near the city of Okara, Qasim’s home town. The business thus helps provide employment opportunities to some of the more marginalized communities in the country. Through this venture, Qasim is helping to make a difference in the lives of those of who live on the fringes of society.

Zain Ashraf Mughal:

One of the brightest young entrepreneurs in the country, his work and achievements have helped land him in the list of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia. Mughal is the CEO of Seed Out, an organization aimed at helping create young entrepreneurs. They provide them with an opportunity to start their own businesses through the funds that they receive from the public. Through this initiative, Mughal is helping to transform lives.
