Syria; 8 Years, One Government and Tyranny

Since 2011, Syria has been under conflict within its own self. From various external interference to internal dispute amongst the people, Syria has been facing the toughest epoch of its time.

After the dispute amongst the Syrians over Bashar al-Assad’s regime, Syria went into war. Assad is being backed by Iran, Iraq and Hezbollah (Lebanon) acting as the regional actors while Russia is backing them on a higher level, being on the same page. On the other hand Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar are acting as a backhand for the anti-Assad regime, while America is an upper hand for them backing them with all the major stuff.

Who is being affected by this? The residents of the state. Causalities are on the rise since day 1, almost killing 560,000 people approximately up till now, which is irrespective of the gender, age, cast or creed. Chemical weapons have been used in the way which is not only against the law, but also against the moral of any nation. For now, a final assault against ISIS has begun in Syria, again resulting in deaths of many innocent people along with the ISIS terrorists.

What now? From an internal Syrian matter, the war has now gone to a different approach with all the international actors being involved, willingly or unwillingly, with only the Syrians to suffer. We can only hope for the war to end soon, with peace again in Syria, for the Syrians to enjoy their life as it was before the Arab Spring.
