A Solar Storm Is on Its Way to The Earth

A solar storm is on its way. Because of it, there might be disruption of power outages, satellite signals, and communication networks.

According to NASA, a solar storm also known as a solar flare is about to hit the Earth at a speed of 1.6 million km per hour. This storm is going to disrupt the power supply, communication networks, and satellite signals in numerous parts of the world. So your GPS, mobile signals, and TV connected with satellite might not work.

This storm is caused by a hole punctured in the atmosphere of the sun. The sun will release high-speed particles, light, and energy.

The flare was first sighted on July 3rd, 2021 as reported by the sources. Prediction about the solar storm hitting the Earth has been going on since then but it has not hit yet. The highest expectancy of the storm to hit was the night of July 16th.

The storm is going to be X1, according to the prediction, which means it is going to be a severe storm. “A” being the lightest followed by B, C, M, and X.

Some scientists have been denying the fact that the storm might even hit Earth. The space weather website has not yet issued an active warning yet. A solar storm like this is not happening for the first time.

Back in 1958, a solar storm like this hit some parts of the Earth and at night the only thing visible in the sky was fire for three consecutive days.  People all over the Earth started panicking thinking it was the end of the world.

A storm similar to this was also witnessed by the civilians of the Earth, 4 years back.

Although there is nothing to worry about as according to experts, the solar storm will affect people or animals.
